The Clock

The Clock

The Clock by Christian Marclay currently screening at the MCA is yet another take on the stream of cinematic nostalgia mash ups feeding our memories back to us, sliced and diced, pushing our collective memory triggers from our cinema past. Sitting in the free, air-conditioned comfy couches you can hear murmurs from people around you as they attempt to guess all the different films that have gone in to this epic 24 hour time-based art piece. The Guardian described it as the most staggering, complex thing made by any artist so far this century in– definitely worth checking out.
